Flood protection wall
a reinforced concrete permanent flood protection wall of height 5.5m MSL is covering the entire industrial zone that stretching over 20 km. A V-Ditch is used to channel excess rain falls to the supporting system of drainage canals. Pumping stations were constructed in various locations to remove excess water from the canals. the combined pumping capacity is over 55000 cu m/hr or 1.32 million cu m/day.
Cannals Depth
during a drought, drainage canals will maintain a depth of 0.6-0.8m while a rainy season will maintain a depth of 0.3-.04m. the stated depth is needed to support approximately 1 million cu m of excess rain while maintain integrety of the embankment
backup generators
in the case of an power outage, there are power generator that connected to the mainline providing the needed electricity for the pumping stations including a 24 hours supporting personal stationing at every locations
